Digital radiographs, or x-rays, are
taken using identical methods to traditional x-ray films, with the
film itself replaced by a digital sensor. A digital sensor takes
much less radiation to provide an image of your tooth - up to 85%
less than with traditional films. The advantages also include
time-savings, and that our office is free from the toxic chemicals
associated with film developers and fixers.
